Who you are agreeing with
Newborn Log is provided by Kickoff Ventures Pte Ltd, a Singapore company ("we", "us"). By installing or using the Newborn Log app, or by using the Newborn Log web app, you agree to these terms.
Free local use
Local logging is free. You can create local baby profiles and record all nine record types with no account, no payment, and no network connection. Local-only data lives on your device only; it is not backed up without Premium, and Android's own cloud backup and device-to-device transfer stay off for this data.
Premium subscription
Newborn Log Premium ("Premium") is an optional paid subscription. It adds an account, access from more than one device and the web app, remote backup through the service, and sharing with caregivers you invite. Turning on sync is a separate, explicit step: you choose which local babies to send, and the app states what it will upload before it sends anything. A baby you move to your Newborn Log account stays there; it does not return to local-only.
Premium is billed monthly or annually. On Android, Google Play Billing processes the purchase; on iPhone, the App Store does; on the web, Stripe does. The price you see before you buy, in your local currency with any applicable tax, is the price that applies. This page states no price; see the current price on the home page, and at checkout in Google Play, the App Store, or Stripe.
Auto-renewal and cancellation
Premium automatically renews at the end of each billing period until you cancel it. On Android, manage or cancel your subscription in Google Play, under Subscriptions. On iPhone, manage or cancel it in Settings on your device, or in the App Store. We cannot cancel a Google Play or App Store subscription for you.
Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Premium until the current paid period ends. Refunds follow the refund rules of the store you purchased through — Google Play or the App Store. If a subscription lapses, your account-bound records stay readable and editable, but they stop syncing until you resubscribe. We never delete data because a subscription lapsed.
Family sharing
One eligible subscription owner's Premium covers the caregivers they invite to their babies. A caregiver's own unrelated local babies need that caregiver's own eligible subscription before they can be covered by Premium.
Your content and your account
Your baby's records belong to you. You can download a copy of your data at any time. You can request deletion of your account after you transfer or delete the babies you own; shared baby records and photos remain with the family after your account is deleted.
Not a medical device
Newborn Log is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Consult a healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app changes. We will post the updated terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
